Sure thing. There was some scrap plexiglass (acrylic) at my work that I procured. I then cut out shapes using a band saw, then used a giant belt sander to further refine the shapes. I then used an oven on low temp to heat some of the pieces one at a time to the point where they were flexible, which made it possible to shape them into the rounded shapes necessary. Then I used screws and super glue to put the pieces together. NOW STOP, do not do as I did (use screws and super glue). INSTEAD, you should use acrylic cement to put the pieces together. That stuff basically melts the peices together. I then glued 9ft of EL wire around the edges of the thing. I used tape to hold the EL wire on there to begin with though.
